Tenants' Frequently Asked Questions



      Q: Can I pay my rent online?

      A: Not yet, but very soon! We are in process of implementing a new software program that will allow our tenants to log in and pay using their bank routing and account number. We will notify you when this feature is up and running.

      Q: Can I submit and pay for an application online?

      A: Yes. We do have an online application for your convenience and you are allowed to pay with your debit or credit card. There is a minimal fee for this convenience.

      Q: Do you allow pets?

      A: Pets are allowed on a case by case basis based on the property you are renting. You must have prior approval before bringing a pet into your rental home. Please call your property manager for details. Keep in mind that under no circumstance does Ace Property Management allow vicious breeds and there is a $200 non refundable pet fee for the first pet and an add’l fee if there is more than one. If unauthorized pets are discovered at your rental property, you will have 48 hours to remove the pet from your premises.

      Q: Does your Office have an After-Hours Drop Box?

      A: Yes, ReMax Choice does have a drop box located on your left hand side as you enter the building. Please make sure that your item is addressed to Ace Property Management and please DO NOT EVER put cash in the drop box under any circumstances.

      Q: How do I submit a maintenance request?

      A: Maintenance requests must be submitted in writing to our office before we can schedule a repair. Directions are included in your lease packet on the “Rental Property Addendum”. We strongly recommend that you use the maintenance request located here, on our website because it is transmitted straight to us.

      Q: How do I submit my 30 day notice? And how can insure that my security deposit will be returned?

      A: Your 30 day notice must be received by our office in writing. You can mail, fax, email or drop off your notice. Once we have received your notice, we will mail you a “Move Out” list of all important information that is required at move out to expect a full deposit refund.

      Q: I am getting a divorce. How can I remove myself from the lease?

      A: Please call your property manager to discuss options for removing yourself from the lease. As long as both parties agree, then we can normally resolve this in a timely manner.

      Q: What if I need to break my lease early?

      A: Please call your property manager immediately with your circumstances and we will work with you to try and resolve this issue that is both fair to you and the homeowner.

      Q: What if we get orders to PCS or deploy in the middle of our lease?

      A: In your lease packet, you signed an “Early Termination By Military Personnel Addendum” explaining the procedure in the case that your family receives orders to relocate or deploy. Copies of the military orders are required as well as a 30 day written notice.
